Liberal Democrats in the Forest of Dean have selected Chris Coleman to be their Prospective Parliamentary Candidate.

Chris, a Borough Councillor representing St Pauls Ward in Cheltenham, said he was delighted to be able to take up the opportunity.

"I am thrilled and proud to have been chosen to be the constituency's PPC. I am looking forward to working with local party members and supporters in the area and am determined to ensure that the electorate in the Forest of Dean have an alternative to the tired 'Labour versus Tory' politics of the past." said Chris.

"Recent election results show that we can win anywhere because we have the ability to offer a real chance for a real change." Chris added.

A swing to the Liberal Democrats such as those seen in Brent East, Leicester South and Hodge Hill will see Chris elected as the next Member of Parliament for the Forest of Dean.
